Reporters from diverse internationally well-known USA media agencies visit El-Aaiun. This delegation aims to coordinate meetings with activists and human rights defenders in order to elaborate a report about the media blockade and human rights in the occupied territories.

Last Monday, December 3, an American media delegation arrived to El-Aaiun, capital of the Western Sahara occupied territories. Reporters from international media agencies such as CNN, NBC, PBS, NPR, International Herald Tribune and Christian Science Monitor are meeting Saharawi activist and human rights defender during a week-long visit.

According to Radio Mazirat, the fact finding mission will gather information until Friday, December 7. The final report aims to shed light into the situation of the local media in the occupied territories as well as to establish a detail account on the media blockade from Morocco and the role of women in human rights advocacy.
